I currently illustrate one cover per month for The Week magazine (UK) which is enormously challenging and exciting. The covers have mainly been caricatures, but now and then I get a subject that throws me far outside my comfort zone and gives me a chance to do something completely new for me. The briefs are normally very specific which is great as the timescale for the job is not that long. Working with the team at The Week has given me the confidence that I can acheive what they need in the time while keeping the quality high and making the magazine pop on the newstands! I can't thank fellow cover artist Howard McWilliam enough for recommending me to The Week, his work is amazing and it's humbling to think my own work has to stand alongside his and not look terrible!
