- Assignment 1: Colour Theory -
The first assignment was about Colour Theory and the different kinds of colour schemes you can create. The assignment itself was choosing two previously made drawings and trying out at least two different colour schemes, I however did all 6 of them on 3 seperate characters I've made and two on a full drawing.
For the first character I went with a Monochrome (only one colour in different shades) and Complementary (two colours opposite of each other on the colour wheel) colour scheme.
For the second one I used Double Complementary (two pairs of colours opposite of each other that forms a square in the colour wheel) and Analogous (three colours next too each other between two of the main ones) colour schemes.
For the third one I used the Triades (red, blue and yellow) and Split-Complementary (one colour and two colours next to the colour opposite of the first colour on the wheel).
Lastly I used a full drawing and gave it a Complementary and Monochrome colour scheme.
- Assignment 2: Lighting & Shading -
In this assignment we were supposed to shade basic shapes (from front and back) and then do it again but give the shapes a texture (only the front).
First up I made a ball and for the texture I chose matte gold. The golden ball didn't go very well in the beginning but I asked a classmate for tips and it turned out great after that.
I completely forgot we were supposed to do a cilinder and cube aswell so I made those too.
- Assignment 3: Painting -
The last assignment was choosing a painting and remaking it as close as possible.
The painting I chose
First off I made the silhouette and then very roughly painted the different shades on the body and cloth, I slowly added more and more details and eventually blended the colours together a bit.
