This series focuses on my interpretation of the folkloric stories of Hidetaka Miyizaki, with a particular emphasis on character design. I aimed to capture the dark and otherworldly aesthetic often contained within folklore, both Japanese and European. This resulted in a body of organic and fantastical illustrations.
