As an apparel designer, I have the ability to influence and inspire the consumer's emotion by means of one simple thing: their clothing. Philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau once said, “Children like the bright colors best, and they suit them better too.” I believe through the power of fun colors, prints, and patterns, clothing can inspire the playfulness and happiness of youth. My dream and desire is to design garments to encourage children to embrace their imagination and enjoy their childhood.

In this project, I took an existing garment that I had already designed and used that as inspiration to expand into a new collection.
