The last Shangri-La suggests a permanently happy place, isolated from the outside world. Bhutan- Land of the thunder dragon is a truly mesmerizing abode of happy people living in one of the most pristine landscape of the world. Bhutan has been officially using GNH (gross national happiness). The assessment of GNH was designed in an attempt to define an indicator and concept that measures life or social progress in more holistic and psychological terms than only the economic indicator of gross domestic product(GDP).
