Wunderkammer: Tarot Cards Ilustrations and Branding

Wunderkammer is a project that was idealized back in 2019 and has been developed in 2021 as the final project for my Design graduation.
The idea behind the project is to unite all the areas of graphic design that I most identified myself the most with and make them work togheter in one single project,
To achieve that, the project is divided into two primary parts, the branding and the illustrations.
The use of moodboards during the process helped grasp the feelings and atmosphere of the project as well as the visual preferences of the targeted audience, and their lifestyle.

The first part of the project consists of the creation of a concept street wear brand and one of the collections that this brand would produce. The brand is named "Wunderkammer" because it follows a very specific creative philosophy, just like the wunderkammers of Europe. The brand wants to show amazement through its products, so every collection should be inspired by some kind of esoteric or exotic subject. The logo reflects some of the symbolism of the name by borrowing the hexagonal shape from the glass displays that were common in the wunderkammers, and a flower being in the middle as a display item.
*Back Pattern
For the collection, the tarot was chosen, more specificly the Major arcana Deck, 22 illustrations re-designed for applications in street wear apparel, but also to be used with the margim for aplicatin in the card itself.
