The Cinemascope project

The Cinemascope project
" Debuting in 1953, Cinemascope was a super widescreen format developed by the head of research at 20th Century Fox. Since it used anamorphic lenses for the first time, Cinemascope only required one projector, which made it much less complex than Cinerama. "
Before diving deeper into the world of motion picture, photography was my main profile. After experimenting with digital cameras I switched to analog photography, shooting on film then developing and enlarging it.
Following the same path, as in photography, now I am involved in motion picture hence my recent project. I tried to assemble, from a small budget, a camera that can really depict and capture the real cinematic look.
Main compartments: Canon 514xl-s Super8 movie camera and Kova Prominar 16-H anamorphic projector lense. Plus some more additions.

Kova Prominar 16-H, as projection lens
There is an action cam, placed in front of the viewfinder, that records and...
and  connected to a controll monitor, through which you can focus and compose the picture.
External lightmeter that helps to achieve the precise exposition.
Changable battery for the controll monitor.
Grip and release button for recording.
P.S.: For the test run a Fomapan R100 Super 8 film will be used, the results will be posted later.
