Yellowstone - (abstract) landscapes with a photo

Photos from friends who visited Yellowstone park in 2022 (Peter en Carla Warmerdam) - inspired me to paint this landscapes because our friends discovered that they in Yellowstonepark were walking in my abstract landscape paintings. This landscape remembered them of my paintings. So I took there photos to create some new landscapes. Pigment, sumi-e on paper 30x40 cm (11 pieces). I'm using al long time photos from holidays and nature to create an other landscape - I prefer paper and pigments (I make my own paint) and also sumi-e in contrast.
