I created this letter form and infographic of a Californian Condor, after researching endangered species. Their history in Native American mythology as creators and destroyers along side their physical impressiveness, made this species seem particularly majestic-which I aimed to portray in my work. I pictured them in both of their habitats, the Sierra Nevada mountains and deserts of California and Northern Arizona. I used contrasting colour palettes to show their juxtaposing portrayals as symbols of both life and death, arid desert and abundant forest, grandeur and endangerment.
