Poster and Social Media Project
The purpose of this Poster and Social Media Project was to create an event and then produce one eye-catching poster and three coordinating social media posts to go along with it. I chose to create a Christmas light show titled "Evening Lights". I then designed the poster and coordinating social media posts to accompany the event. I wanted the focal point of the poster to be the title of the event and visually interesting. In order to achieve that goal I designed a lightbulb icon in a "zoomed in" perspective. I then added two Christmas trees to further emphasize the Christmas theme. The coordinating social media posts were designed to incorporate at least one specific element of the poster in order to utilize repetition and cohesiveness throughout the full project.
