Menu Interior
The Hodad's menu is very repetitive when it refers to its classic burgers. I organized the left interior of the menu's 12 items into a 4 x 4 grid since many of their entries were repeating that their burgers were mini, single, or double patty. The thought process behind the layout of the right page was to draw the eye to the specialty burger with guy fiery on the right hand side of the page. I kept their logo's color scheme and went with red for backgrounds, and yellow and white for item entries and descritptions. The background imagery behind the boxes evokes imagery of waves and the ocean to reflect the surfer vibe of the restaurant.
The Cover
Since their burgers are notorious for being ridiculously huge. I approached the cover with a simple approach. A juicy burger taking up most of the menu, that way when customers their menus, other customers will be be drawn to the Burger and onion rings on the cover. This should help streamline the decision making process of ordering for many newcomers, as they gravitate to the main item on the menu's cover.
