I choose to recreate the movie poster for Maleficent because I think it's a good movie and the poster is eye catching. To recreate the poster I took a picture of my friend with horns that were made out of plastic cups, foil, and black electricity tape. On Adobe photoshop I desaturated her face to remove the reds in her face to make her pale. I painted over her eyes and used the eyedropper tool to get the same eye color as Angelina Jolie had. I also painted black with low opacity on the areas that I wanted really dark like around her eyes and cheekbones. I painted the rest of the cap on as well as her cape. On the cap I added some greys to add some texture so it could have more dimension to it and wouldn't look flat.
