A fictional soundscape
of Mars Quakes

As some of you might know, I follow the news involving space and space travel pretty closely and a couple of days ago the news reported the largest quake on Mars (or any other planet besides Earth) ever recorded. The articles included a graph so stunningly beautiful that I knew in that instant: I just had to create something!

Another obsession
I also love vinyl records and recently re-started collecting vinyl again. Not only because how they sound and the analogue aspect, but also because of the size of the canvas of a record sleeve and the beautiful artwork many record have.

Long story short
Not sure what the soundtrack of this seismic event would be, but the artwork is done! 😁
I isolated the visual part of the graph and morphed it into a circular image using polar coordinates in Photoshop. This symbolizes a cross section of the planet and the view this event gave into the planet Mars.
