ART 264: Jewelry and Metal Design
Professor: Marfo Glover
Project: Bracelet, Necklace, and Pin
For this project, I had to create a necklace and bracelet set. I cut and wired all of the pieces together. This was extremely time consuming and very challenging, but I learned a lot about patience and detail during the process.
Here is my final jewelry set.
For the following project, I was able to design a unique bracelet. I had to incorporate a circle, two triangles, two rectangles, two straight lines, two curved lines, and a diamond.
Below is my final bracelet.
I also create a pin or brooch piece. The pin had to include three different types of metal and a significant meaning. The big silver "G" represents my last name. The branch in the center with the four flower buds represents the four members of my family.
Here are images of the final pin.
