"Rust"
HDR Photography
Purpose
This is a project I completed for my Intro to Photography class. I chose to capture this photo because my parents had a few old cars laying around and I wanted to do something nice for them. Once I took this photo I decided to enter it into the Crimson Creative Awards, a campus wide creative competition.
Target Audience
The target audience for this photo were for people that appreciate photos of older things along with people that appreciate good photography.
Problem Solving
There was some problem solving with this photo, which included learning how to adjust to outdoor shooting, learning how to affectively use the HDR settings on my camera, and capturing the image with the right amount of texture.
HDR Photography (High Dynamic Range)
Equipment used: Canon Rebel T5, 18-55 mm lens, and a tripod.
It took around an thirty minutes to capture this photo. There was a lot of adjustment with camera settings to capture images usable for HDR.
Software: Adobe Photoshop
Overall it took about an hour and a half to edit and merge all three photos to give it the look and feel that I was aiming for.
