Sketch #1 Self Portrait
My name is Adriana Rivera, a socially awkward nerd trying to get through life one trippy step at a time. At one point, I could be bubbly and charismatic or I can be a reserved turtle in it's shell. For me, it depends on the weather and whether or not I've eating lunch yet. I come from the country about 2 hours from San Marcos so the city is a foreign concept to me since all I know are mountains and bipolar weather. I'm in this class to learn how to better express myself through the method of photography. My major is Art, Media and Design so I was hoping this major would help me with that since Photography would have to be my favorite kind of medium. This would be my third year I'm sure but even spending two years at this school, I'm not sure if I would be able to answer what the life mission is besides surviving through whatever the world throws my way. Being creative and thinking outside the box is something I'm passionate about because who likes to be normal? Being unique, weird, quirky is something I strive to be.
