IVY League Sat Scores
Applicants to Ivy League schools are often assessed holistically. In addition to test scores reflecting transferable skills such as reading comprehension and math ability, elite colleges consider other metrics as well.
Additionally, admissions officers consider grades, extracurriculars, athletics, essays, and work experience when assessing prospective students.
For this reason, earning a perfect Ivy League SAT scores will not guarantee admission. Even students who earn perfect or near-perfect scores must compete with other applicants. It is possible to stand out from other qualified candidates when high test scores are coupled with other markers of academic excellence.
For the 2022-23 application cycle, all eight Ivy League schools will continue to have test-optional policies.
Even though high SAT scores are an asset, colleges consider other factors as well.
In order to be considered for admission, students must score in the 75th percentile.
SAT scores below the 25th percentile should not be submitted by applicants.
