The 16-week Graduation Project programme is a part of our course curriculum of 8th semester. The objective of this Project is to gain real time experience by understanding the real Industry Concerns and mannerisms. Systematic understanding, of knowledge of accessory Industry in the context of infrastructure, organisational structure, product range, manufacturing processes, quality control processes etc.
The brief of the Graduation project at Decor Asia - DOFT, under this idea, was to Work on the product development concepts of two collections - that were Spring/ summer 22 and Everyday collection for DOFT ( Decor Asia's retail unit) based on trend forecasting, Story/ context and understanding of the industry specific design considerations.
And as we close the chapter of COVID 19, the pen is gradually inking up, preparing itself to write the next chapter of life which reflects Real Living that consists of happiness, well-being, and satisfaction. Presenting, the collection of Decor-worthy candles, inspired by the mind-set of New - Beginnings, Alpha. Alpha which means the first, the beginning is Inspired by a dandelion that longs to bring back spring memories as a symbol of hope and happiness along with the warm winds blow.

Final Sketches :
Some TIPS and TRICKS for burning the candles ethically and efficiently :
1) Burn the Candle for two hours of first Use. This is to allow the top later to fully melt, ensuring even Burning.
2) Trim Wicks to 1/4" before Lighting the Candle, regularly . This helps to prevent soot and extends the life of the Candle.
3) Avoid Drafts, do not put burning Candles near heating, air conditioning Vents or open Windows. The flame should not be flickering.
4) Don't leave the lid off when not in use. It prevents dust from settling on the Candle.
5) Clean the glass of the candle using a wet cotton pad with warm and saopy water and rub gently.
6) Do not throw the Pretty Vessel. Repurpose it.
7) Use the candle lid or wick snuffer to estinguish the candle without any smoke.
8) Allow the wax to melt and pool right to the Candle's Edge to prevent tunneling of Candle.
