This project was a series of poster designed to help break the stereotypes of OCD. It is very frustrating to see OCD not be taken seriously or treated in a way that is incorrect. I wanted to bring awareness to OCD and help break these stereotypes by changing the way OCD is spoken about. 

Unless you do your own research, the only thing someone knows about it is what they have heard or seen in the media or on tv. People often don’t realize that feeding into these stereotypes and their words and actions can be harmful until someone points it out to them. The best way to fight stigma is through education. Each poster takes a common stereotype and explores why it is incorrect. Hoping to get people to see it differently and understand the disorder a little bit more. I want to encourage people to be more aware of their language and how it may affect someone.
