Native American Culture

Living aboard has shaped me into the person I am today and without that once in a lifetime experience I would definitely have a different perspective on life.
Being taught in an international school has opened my eyes to a multitude of cultures, traditions and religions I wouldn't have had a 'hands on' experience with if I had stayed in Quebec City.
I have met some incredibly enthusiastic and globally aware people that have had a huge impact on my life in so many different ways. They have made me open to different ways of viewing the world.
Experiencing many different cultures has, I believe, inspired my artwork. I have been inspired by the vibrant colours of Sri Lanka; the minarets of the Grand Mosque in Bahrain, the Basilica de la Sagrada Família by Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona and the dark misty forests of my home country, Canada. This is the reason why I based my year eleven examination topic on Native American culture to delve deeper into my roots.
Any feedback is always greatly appreciated!
