As part of their launch campaign, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf wanted a short video and photos for posting on Facebook and Instagram as well as for their In-Store Displays.
Their brief included descriptions such as:
- Warm-neutral colour tones
- Light wood texture
- Bright and "sunlight" lighting
This Projective proposed a look and feel inspired by Netflix's Korean drama, “Our Beloved Summer” - clean, light, and refreshing.
In addition to the concept proposal, Pre-Production for this project included storyboarding, art direction, and set designing. For this shoot, a total of 2 sets were featured: a kitchen set and a dining table set.
The following quotes were embossed on the products:
On the French Press: "Good day starts with coffee"
On the Mug: "Happiness is a cup of tea"
Wanting to highlight the quotes and showcase the duality of the products, This Projective proposed a "home date" for the video's storyline, in which the male talent uses the French Press for coffee and the female talent uses the Mug for tea.
