LEE ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
Lee Alexander McQueen was a London based English fashion designer who was head designer of Louis Vuitton, Givenchy fashion line, before starting his own line. He was born on march 17 1969 into a working class family living in public housing in London's Lewisham district. His father Ronald was a cab driver and his mother, Joyce taught social science. On their small incomes they supported McQueen and his five siblings. McQueen called lee by his friends for most of his life, recognized his homosexuality at an early age and was teased extensively about it by schoolmates. At age 16 McQueen dropped out of school he found work on Savile Row, a street in London's Mayfair district famous for offering made to order men’s suits. He worked first with the tailor shop Anderson and Shephard and then moved to nearby Gieves and Hawkes

Lee Alexander McQueen- I am inspired by his deadly awesome collections, personality and struggles in his life. He was one among the homophiles who struggled both mentally and physically like sexual abuses and later that lead to end up his life. There are lot of people among as struggles the same who cannot express themself what they are. This collection is meant for the topics HOMOPHILES and MYSOGNY

''The environment was nothing out of the ordinary, but the real issues were much deeper. Alexander was often teased by his peers for being a homosexual which left him with scars for life. The biggest wound was revealed after his death. When his sisters, Janet McQueen confirmed he was sexually abused at the age of 9. the abuser was Janet's then husband. Who assaulted her as well. The powerful clothes designs Alexander created years later were intended to work as an armor to protect the women against abuse''
“I want a women to look stranger. I don’t like women to be taken advantage of. I don’t like men whistling at women in the street. I think they deserve more respect. I have seen a women get nearly beaten to death by her husband. I know what MISOGYNY is.”                                                                                                                    -ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
