It wasn’t an easy task. We had one week to come up with a concept, gather materials and build an installation for Grasnapolski music festival happening in the toekomst factory. I am really proud of my team and that we managed to achieve such great success. Now some words about the idea behind our work called “fragments”

 

"Fragments" is about damage, it is about unconcern and excessive anxiety at the same

time. The work you see expresses concern of victims of an earthquakes that happened

and continue to happen in this place. It is a futuristic voracious crack emerging from the wall that kills and swallows everything in it's way. House appliances, electronics, furniture, everything gets sucked into a mysterious void. It is a pause in time, you are caught in a moment. you are able to see how someone's chair, keyboard, a pan, even favorite toy, it is a transition from a possession to a waste object. Goal of the artwork is to show how miserable and unnoticeable everyday life appliances can be, how fast, in a second or two, it turns into waste
