'Me, Rebelity'  is a publication where I tried to combine fashion and subcultures. Inspired by the original punk zines, I decided to use mainly 3 colors in my work — white, black and red.

I combined all the photos I received into a publication. For each spread, I added text fragments ― cliché phrases and experiences of the character which was invented especially for this project. For some of them, I took the definitions from the dictionary. I wanted to create a sense of infantilism and rebelliousness. Ultimately, it can be drawn a parallel with the ideology and the way of storytelling of the 'SLC Punk' movie.

Historically, this was due to the fact that zines were produced for non-commercial purposes. The available tool was a risograph, the feature of which was printing in layers. That is, each color is printed separately. And often, two ink colors were used in zines, one of which was always black (mostly used for the typography and images). And, of course, most often the second color was red — a color automatically associated with punk culture and protest.
