Brief 1. Write a letter explaining why you're leaving the course

Dear Darren

I don’t really know why I'm writing you this letter as it should go to the course leader but let’s continue. I need you to know something, I’ve been living a lie. This is not what I expected of my life and I have decided to leave and pursue my dream. My dream is to be what every little boy wanted to be growing up, a traffic warden. Some little boys sat and watched their favourite football teams, I stood on the side of the road and watched my favourite traffic wardens. I’ve always wondered why Adeles ‘Chasing Pavements’ and Snow Patrols ‘Chasing Cars’ reached me on such a personal level, now I know.

God Bless
Please pass this on to Jono

Yours sincerely
Liam McGuire (Your favourite student)

Brief 2. Invent a word

Porncrastinator

Someone who postpones work (especially out of laziness or habitual carelessness) but instead watches Porn.

Brief 3. Write your Motto

Don’t let your past dictate your future.

Brief 4. Write your own Manifesto

Don’t let your past dictate your future. You may have had a rough past but don’t let the people who have ruined your past ruin your future. You can’t change your past but your future is in your hands. It wont be easy, life isn't easy. You need to realise that you are in control of your destiny. Only weak people leave their future in someone else's hands.

Brief 5. Sell something you own (Paul Smith socks)

What we have here are Classic Paul smith Signature Stripe Socks. That’s right, classic. ‘Classic’- “Judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind” Do you know what kind of items are described as classic? The best kinds. Worn by the greats of our time. Do you know the type of people who wear these socks? That’s right, The best kinds. Did you know that the best version of yourself wears these socks. They aren't just socks but an idea, an idea that believes if you want to be the best that you can be then you will buy these socks.

Brief 6. Sell someone you love (My Dad)

The most modest and unselfish man I’ve ever known. A man that puts everybody else's needs before his own. Congratulated for his contribution to the community but refuses to take an accolade. Actually scrap that, he’s my dad, I’m not selling him, get your own.

Brief 7. Sell your Secret Weapon (My Brain)

My brain, unlike no other. It’s my brain that makes me the incredible presence you witness before you. Packed with ideas: creative and insane. The great combination that would thrive in the world of advertising, making it a feature that you desire. You don’t get to choose your brain, we get given it. You have a choice though, you get to choose my brain. This magnificent brain could be yours, to nurture into near perfection. Because nothing can be considered perfect in this world, but you’re looking at something that is very close.
