Unraveled Project Design - Aaron Huaco

Project one response
During the making of this poster, I started out with many ideas, at first I just wanted to illustrate or represent, perhaps the word “Unraveled” to me. After presenting my idea to my classmates I realized that sometimes, instead of going for the literal meaning, it’s better to give it another perspective and create something more abstract. In this way it can be interpreted however the viewer wants to see it.
There were three important lessons I’ve learned during the process of creating these posters, the first one was to always be open for criticism. Of course constructive criticism and positive criticism are the best ones, sometimes destructive could have some hidden truth, but that is not always the case.
The second lesson I've learned is to never stop creating, whenever an idea comes through my mind, I would start turning it into a sketch, from that sketch into an illustration, from that illustration into a masterpiece.
The third lesson is to learn something new everyday and incorporate it into any projects that I am currently working on. For example, Before making this poster I did not know much about Adobe Illustrator. After countless hours of watching tutorials and practicing on my own I have started to understand how to use it.
In conclusion, always be able to learn new software and techniques that will help you in the long run. Even after concluding these posters I still believe there are always new ways to make it better or improve it. It was a great experience and I would like to do some more in the near future.
