Design Concept
Create a strong personal brand identity with a story to tell. Function drives design. We have different unique contexts where we may be asked to showcase our work. An A4-size folder will give me the flexibility to include documents or works to suit these contexts. Metaphorically, our travel luggages contain items that have meaning or are essential to us, and is synonymous with multi-cultural experiences, openness, resilience and versatility. These are key attributes that I want to showcase, on top of my personality.
I have included accompanying deliverables - A stencil (a fun tool) which is strongly associated with graphic design. It also gives users the opportunity to create a facial expression that is suited to his/her mood and style.
And, a coaster (a practical object at home and in the office).
