Source of Water - Shutter Speed

NIKON D3400 - 52Mmm - f/5.6 - 1/15 sec - ISO 3200
I took a variety of experimental shots with water movement using a fast and slow shutter speed to convey the different movements of water. A slower shutter speed has gave me a blurred motion of water. I admired the results with a slower shutter speed but I felt that it caputred a camera shake from my end.
NIKON D3400 - 52Mmm - f/5.6 - 1/200sec - ISO 25600
This shot I taken using a much higher shutter speed to freeze the water in the frame rather than highlight the movement. I also used a much higher ISO this time due to the weather conditions and time of day, as the previous ISO and a higher shutter speed resulted in a significantly darker lit image.
NIKON D3400 - 18mm - f/4.5 - 1/200sec - ISO 25600

This shot I took over a bridge, I liked how the moss coated rocks provides a frame for the foam of rushing water as it calms further up the image. I felt that the eyes starts at the bright foam of the water and follows it upstream as it calms down and the foam decimates. I used a higher shutter speed to freeze the water movement captured, and experiemented with a lower shutter speed to the photo below.
NIKON D3400 - 18mm - f/4.5 - 1/10sec - ISO 1600

This is the shot I experimented with a lower shutter speed to show the movement of water. I was pleased with how this turned out as the blurred water juxtaposes with the stillness of the rocks and moss it moves around
NIKON D3400 - 18mm - f/4.5 - 1/6sec - ISO 1600
This shot originally started out purely experimental with a slightly lower shutter speed and a lower ISO due to a break in the clouds from where I was facing. I really loved how this turned out, how the motion of water highlights the relief found in the stream.
