My personal sneaker of the year for 2021, the Nest SB-01 is a beautifully designed shoe created for the outdoors and inspired by a bird’s nest. I’ve started creating a style of illustration that blends graffiti street art and comic books. The base layer is a spray paint feel for the shoe coloring, with jagged lines in different weights for the outline of the shoe. I then added some chromatic aberration and half-tones to give it that comic book texture, but not too much to overdo it.

Final product! Some aberration and half tones were added to give some more texture for the overall look I wanted to creat - a street art, comic book blend!
