I designed the illustration book of the retrospective exhibition of Alexander Calder, a representative sculptor of America held at Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art. This exhibition was the biggest retrospective exhibition of his collection ever held in Korea. The favorate colors of Caldor, black, white and red were mailnly used and overall thin typography were employed as the motif of his wire work. For the readers to feel Caldor at closer encouter with him, this booklet presents not only his beautuful works, but, more positively, various photo shots about him at work and his daily life as well.

I tried to include in this digtal media the three dimensional movement of his works and the documentary film displayed at the exhibition that could not be shown in the illustration book. It was also intended to show his sketch works and jewellery works in an interactive way and to convey the visual sense of the exhibition site by attaching the photos of the exhibition hall. As such, e-books can complement the exhibition and the illustration book in a three dimensionally way.
