Designer Posters: These posters were created to coexist with my mentors designer quizzes. These are to help the students learn more about the fashion world and places they could use to reference other works of art within the fashion space. I choose to highlight a female designer (left), a classical designer (center), and a contemporary designers (right).
Slide: This presentation was created to explain how a fashion critique should be run. I wanted to break down what both the presenter and critic should do. This help students express their thoughts about each others work and not just comment what they liked or disliked about a garment.
Process Book: I created a process book along side the student to show an example of what needs to happen during the research process of the project. I intentionally left blank pages and spaces to fill in later as I would complete the collection. This really helped students understand the process of recording their thoughts, ideas, and problem solving's.
Client Profile: One of the hardest parts to understand the students had was with Client Profiles. They had trouble separating the customers style from their own. Therefore, i created an example Customer Profile and a Personal Profile. The Customers (left) shows what their interests, demographic, and style looks like, and the Personal (right) shows how I view my own interests, demographic, and style.
