Drawing realistic portraits is one of my favourite creative hobbies, even more so when I get to play around with complex details, colours and tones. It was also the beginning of my love and fascination with photorealism as I developed my observational skills and practised to pay the highest attention to detail.

All of the artworks shown here were rather challenging and required great focus for long hours (some pieces took me more than 10 hours) which tired me out easily, but I always felt tremendously fulfilled when they were finally completed. Besides the objective to establish credibility, I liked to record and edit the drawing process into time-lapse videos for my own documentation. These drawings are not limited to only my favourite artists and actors, as I also drew some as gifts for my friends and families.

On a side note, I don't limit myself to drawing merely realistic portraits as a hobby - Here are some miscellaneous artworks which I had also created using traditional media during my free time.
