The Task
"You will be creating a responsive website that highlights your local area. It will be an eight-page website using HTML and CSS. It will demonstrate attention to navigation, content, responsive design, information architecture, and broad ability to style a site to fit with a concept. You will include a rationale as a document explaining to the ‘client’ why your design meets the needs of a target audience."
Target User Statement
The target user group for this local guide to Annerley is older retiring women who are interested in exploring local creative activities and locations for their leisure and enjoyment.

The target user group usually enjoys a slower paced and more relaxed lifestyle, as they are heading into retirement. The user group will most likely be looking to enjoy casual and laid-back activities, that require low levels of effort as well as be affordable.

The target user group may also have some impairments, which could limit the use of any potential app or website. Because of this, the design will focus on usability, mainly through colour contrast, and ease of interaction. The activities and information provided will focus on places which are accessible, suitable in pace, as well as of interest.
