Zero Waste: WaterWear (2021)
Imagining a future where sustainable lifestyles and behaviours are enabled by fashion!
As a collaboration with Uniqlo for its ZeroWaste initiative, we have designed a wearable water bag by rethinking and repurposing the old UNIQLO products while using LifeWear as inspiration.
Rooted with the idea of sustainability, apart from challenging the notion of reusing the old garments, we have taken it one step further — to encourage a different, more eco-friendly lifestyle to reduce the use of PET bottles while making it fashionable!
Do you remember a time as a kid you would carry a little water bottle bag? As we grew up, why hasn't there been a more attractive solution?
Leveraging the insulative properties of neck warmer and jackets, and combining them with a shirt and belt, we have created a fashionable “adult” take of that little water bag we use to carry around as a child. This refreshing water bag is versatile and can be made with any shirt and belt, making it readily accessible for all to recreate!
