In this project, I am require to do an experimental typography. 

So I decided to create a new typeface.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Experiment any topic that can do with typography

As I was researching and exploring what kind of experiment I could do with typography. 

I realised that traditional Chinese jade stamp don't have a particular alphabet typeface for it. 

For alphabet letter, there are only existing typeface for it such as comic sans, arial and more as shown on above. Which does not bring out the Chinese character at all. So I decided to create a typeface mainly for jade seal stamp.

In order to create a Chinese character typeface specifically for jade seal stamp, 

I found a few of the Chinese typeface and try to develop alphabet typeface from it.

At the end I chose the first design and refined them, and the final result is shown above.

I made a jade seal mock up with my typeface in order for you to visualise how would it look in real life.

With this typeface, the jade seal does show the Chinese character even with alphabet typeface.
