Zherdyai
there are villages where no one walks down the street in the evening. This is because of an unusual creature called Zherdyai. This is a very tall and unusually thin creature that likes to scare the peasants. It also loves to look in the windows and knock on them, pretending to be a branch.
Water nymph
wandering in the woods you need to be more careful, because it is possible to meet a water nymph. This is a beautiful girl who can easily enchant with her beauty. But you will not hear and she will grab you and take you to the bottom of the lake. In folk tales it is often added that the moth has no back, so that the entrails can be seen behind.

In the villages there is a rule of cleaning the stove, which should always be observed: when you take the ashes out of the house, be sure to sprinkle it with earth. Because if this is not done, a creature known as an popelyha emerges from it. This creature walks the streets in the evenings and strangles everyone it meets with its long, clawed hands.
