Mt. Pilchuck, Washington
In the great pacific northwest, Mount Pilchuck is a slightly treacherous hike if you're not prepared. Towards the top, you'll come across boulder fields where dynamite had blown apart pieces of the mountain years and years ago. You'll sometimes find the old hooks the workers used while scaling up the mountain. At the very top is a small observatory open to all, where you can even stay the night to watch the sun set around you.
