Infographics are made with the intent of teaching and informing viewers about certain issues.
BRIEF
I was given a brief at school where I had to choose a social media movement of personal choice and promote it through the use of data visualization to educate viewers in relation to any matter related to the movement.
PROBLEM
After conducting some secondary and primary research, it was discovered that police brutality is experienced in SA and it had become worse when the covid-19 regulations were in action; The questionnaires showcased how many were aware of this situation and believed that this happens due to the history of the country.
SOLUTION
The movement chosen for this project was #BLACKLIVESMATTER because the issue found falls under issues that this movement is trying to fight against.
The same colour scheme was used as well as graphics that support the information found.
This information would be showcased in relevant websites as banners, they would be published on relevant social media as well as be showcased as posters on subway stations, taxi/bus stations and on the street.
