Below are the wireframe and shaded views of the model as rendered in Maya. The design was completed in only an hour as a test of the Makerbot Replicator 2. The final was printed in seven different pieces - two arms, two legs, torso and two antennae - and then the parts were glued together, primered and painted with standard modeling paints.
