Earth is Melting
Originally titled "hand on globe" as the file name suggests, this is supposed to be an illustration that was ideated by my sister about global warming, which is then to be printed on a t-shirt for her apparel print business back in 2019 (now she owns a pizza business and this was never printed).
The idea revolves around global warming, a hand holding a melting globe. Down below is the original sketch that I drew before I proceeded to Illustrator.
This sketch is inspired by the infamous Filipino Poster starter pack that involves two hands and a globe in the middle. I stick with one because my sister told me to go that way.
For the palette, I have used colors stuck within Illustrator's color palette as there are colors that fits well.
The final output for my sis is not the sketch above, sadly. She changed her mind and asked me to go for minimalism, Infographic Show-esque.
This never came to print too.
Looking again in the file a day ago, I have attempted to do a big rework and attempted to go with the sketch as I felt like I can make it work. (Plus, I have done an output that followed the sketch alongside the final output so I got the hand).
Since I got the hand as with the sketch already, I reworked on the globe as it is supposed to be "melting" as originally intended.
With this done, an idea struck me of turning this to a proper poster, and so I continued working on it and ended up with the idea: earth is melting.
