With this character, I was trying to express his personality using three different words that I selected to base the character off of. I was going for the mysterious, yet calming appearance to reflect his design. I was also trying to experiment with a different lighting style than I normally work with, and I thought it turned out pretty good. It makes it a little harder to colour a character with only five different colours; however, I worked with varying tints and shades of the palette I selected beforehand, so that helped a little bit. Overall I'm proud of the design of the character, between the lighting, the colours and the different design I drew him in.
