Urban Design- Titanic Quarter - UK

Program: Mixed-use waterfront development, 75 Ha (185 acres). 
Client: Titanic Quarter Ltd. 
Phase: Planing permission given in 2007, construction began in 2008.

Titanic Quarter comprehends 75 Ha (185 acre) of post-industrial lands, 1.5 km to the north-east of Belfast City Centre on the River Lagan. Phase I has been completed including the new campus for the Belfast Institute for Further and Higher Education.
Titanic Quarter Phase II : Lagan Village, is a mixed-use regeneration project for some 300,000sq.m of floor space on 16.5 Ha of land. 
The project takes over the old Harland and Wolff shipyards transforming the brown site into a new maritime quarter. By May 2013, 145,000sq.m had been completed, with 90 companies on site and 5,000 people living and working in the area.

Main duties: 
- Concept Masterplan amendments,
- Uses plan and Development matrix,
- Research into the built environment: precedents, place, building typology and sustainability.
- Elaboration and presentation of reports such as the Architectural Design Guidelines Appendix to the approved planning application and the Sustainability report
