I was on a team to create a mural to be in the stairwell in Doucette at Edinboro University. The idea behind it was for it to lead your eye up to the second floor where the art office is located. We were given multiple quotes from past art major graduates and we needed to include them in our designs. My quote was called “Make & Make & Make” which encourages students to continue to create new artwork all the time. I chose to pull the ampersand from the original quote and make many hand drawn ampersands to show how they make artwork all together.
