PHOTOGRAPHY AND PHOTO MANiPULATiON
I wanted this photography collection to revolve around the theme of nature and also I also wanted the editing to be very striking and unique. The photos above are some of the unedited shots of my model in eccentric poses and some more classic poses.
For my first photography piece, I experimented with changing the hue in Adobe Photoshop. I decided to make her skin have a pink tinge, for a celestial vibe. I then used the elliptical marquee tool to invert parts of the image. I overlapped some of circles to create a bubble effect, I'm glad I did because when the two inverted circles layers over each other it creates a pocket of non-inverted image. It helps adds to the idea that they are bubbles.
Instead of overlapping the circles, I decided to keep all the circles separate in my second final image. This created a polkadot pattern that was inspired by Yayoi Kusama. I used the quick selection tool in Adobe Photoshop to select my model's legs and head, along with selecting the background trees and sky.
