Project BINDU ( Basic Introduction to New Digital Understandings ) is a ongoing project by me and my fellow design researchers from National Institute of Design to come up with comprehensive tools for introduction to emerging digital trends in technology for, new generation and old, alike.

Under this initiative we are trying to understand the role of technology in the education system as well as culture on whole. 

We created curriculum for schools to introduce Electronics Education in a meaningful way, along with we also design kits and activities that fuel interest and creativity to take it further.

We assemble and create electronics kits for students for easy start , as well as we allow them to use their creativity to take the project forward. The curriculum we devise doesn't spoon feed students to follow steps, but build an understanding to create their own thing and think what they can achieve with this knowledge.

We start by not dictation what we will be building, but asking them and letting them imagine and put it on a paper. Then we explain them in context of what they were thinking, how we can achieve their imagination or thoughts, what are the building blocks for it.

This gives students sense of purpose and also ignites interest in what they are learning.

Students can take their creations home to show their friends and family. We also include extra material for students to perform the activity at home or school later. We do this so that students don't feel any resistance in terms of resources to revise the concepts or try to create on their own.
