vintage eveningwear dress
Inspired by my grandmothers wardrobe I redesigned a new and more modern version of one of her dresses. Shortening the length of the dress and opening up the front and back. After making a pattern of the new redesigned version I made a eveningwear dress in silk with spaghetti straps was a classy lady. She wore dresses everyday and attended evenings in the Opera in Norway where my grandfather played the flute in the orchestra. Her dresses remindes me of the "New Look" of the fifties. Influences from Balenciaga, Chanel, Dior and Givenchy.
In the photoshoot I used my beautiful friend Amélie. The photos are taken by the talented photographer Vegard Kleven, hair and make-up by Knut Eirik Kokkin and Siri Berg Danielsen. They did an amazing job, Amélie was "drop dead" gorgeous!
