This is the second week of our project for Self-Promo postcards.  This week we took the images from the previous week and turned them into postcards.  The first step was to do some exploration with different effects.  Here are the ones I came up with.

Note: This design did not turn out exactly how I planned for it to, however I stepped back and looked at it and found that I really liked how this one turned out.

For the postcard I chose the Hollywood effect image.  I used it along with more paint splashes and used a few fun techniques to make the name and catchphrase stand out.

As a bonus, I wanted to include all of the postcard ideas I had come up with.  In the end I had 6 different designs (including the one above) that I had to choose from.  It ended up being a lot harder than I thought.  I really like how all of them turned out, in the end though, I felt the one above was the one that really stood out the most.
