Cerveceria Mamacita
Cerveceria Mamacita is a concept brewery branding project. I set myself a brief of creating a striking rebrand identity for a heritage Spanish brewery. The goal with the rebrand was to expand market share by appealing to a younger audience of consumers.
Inspired by Mexican tattoo flash, I hand drew a portrait of an attractive young woman, or mamacita, as the brewery mascot. I paired this with a vintage typeface and popular Spanish colours to create and authentic aesthetic for this fictional brewery.
The branding and the brewery narrative is designed to appeal to a wide audience from 21 – 60 year olds with an interest in craft beer, tattoos culture and artisanal produce.
