This Project Took me around 4 weeks to finish, a lot of attempts in order the box to be perfect aligned to the inside. This is one of my biggest College Project, and I wanted to share it.
The idea was to recreate a Fancy High End Lip Balm Package for Men. using the following colors, Gold, Marron, Black and White. I decided to make the brand (CAVALIER) gold color, to represent clean and fancy ends.
One of the things I love the most of this project, is that for the first time I started to play around with 3D design. Using Adobe Dimensions I was able to show in the real world my Design.
I went to many websites and Stores looking for inspiration and ideas. One of my favorites places to go for Fancy Items is Whole foods and Fresh Market, places where I took pictures of some Empty spaces in order to put my Lip Balm Box Design and show it in a Real environment (These pictures where taken with out the actual product, it was all digitally created )
Some of the things that may come to your mind, is, Why did you choose this Decal Design?
I will be honest, I was not expecting this result. I was playing around with gradients looking for something fancy, and I figured out that I could change the colors for each Flavor, and so it will be easy for the customer to know fast which flavor is the lip balm.
Inside the box when you open it, you have an extreamelly new and fancy experience, and while you enjoy it, you can learn more about the Flavors you as customer will try with the Lip Balms
I remember I was doing the Muck Up of the Box, and when i was playing around with it and thinking how to make it feel different from any other Box Design. I Got it. A package that once you opened you can also use it as a Display, just turn around it and close it in the other side. That is how this idea came to reality, and I really love it
