Advertising during COVID-19

Watching the evolution of advertising during the coronavirus, was disappointing. The blanket "we're all in this together" positivity comes across as in authentic and frankly THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER. We get it. The world sux. 
But what if a brand took on a self-deprecating shrug of the shoulders. Or a simple and subtle announcement of accommodating the curve ball.
